OK let’s be honest, for many of us when we hear the words “money” and “God” being used in the same sentence, visions of televangelists with bad hair automatically come to mind. Or maybe you think of people who have used the generosity of others for their own personal benefit. It’s because of the selfishness of people like this that the very character of God has been tarnished, and sometimes it can be difficult to get past that visual. But the truth is God wants to do amazing, transformational things in this world. He wants to right wrongs, mend relationships, bring hope to the hopeless, light into the darkness. He wants to infuse this world with justice, peace, mercy, and forgiveness. And above all else, He wants to use US to do it! (it’s a crazy plan, but there it is).
Throughout the Scriptures we see God laying out a plan to bring His world back to where it was meant to be, and He always used His people to accomplish that goal. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn’t, but God never strayed from His original plan of using His creation to mend a broken world. In short, we’re it. There’s no plan B! As a matter of fact, Jesus says that when we live every part of our lives for Him, we will do even greater things than He did (just one of the mind-boggling statements made by Jesus).
But transformation can only occur when we’re willing to use every part of our lives— including our finances—for the purpose of bringing God’s love to a broken world.
We would love to partner with you on this journey of coming alongside God to bring His revolutionary love to not only the city of Ann Arbor, but to every part of the world. We have a global vision to see not only the greenroom in Ann Arbor, but also greenrooms in artistic centers across the globe.

We know it might seem strange for a community of faith (especially one just getting off the ground) to spend valuable web space talking about the cool things other communities of faith are doing in the area. To many, it just doesn’t make sense. But we at the greenroom think it would make less sense not to. God didn’t give us the dream and passion to start this creative movement so that we could lift ourselves up. We’re here to lift God up and to help others grow closer to Him, no matter where it happens!
