December 11 , 2006
Dear Frontline family,
Sunday we continued our series "Welcome To Our World." Free message notes and MP3s are available at http://www.frontlinechurch.org/resources/podcasts.php.
You are invited to the first-ever 'Redeeming the Heart of Cain' book signing with local author and Frontliner Sean Gray. It is this Saturday, December 16 from 11 AM until 3 PM at Crossroads Bibles, Books & Gifts on Ann Arbor-Saline Road in the Oak Valley Mall near Target. Meet the author, buy a freshly signed copy of his book and enjoy the choice surroundings of one of the finest bookstores in Ann Arbor. There will be gift giveaways for children, too.
The women's CHRISTmas brunch is also this Saturday, December 16. For details, contact Kelly Hawkins at kelly@kellyhawkins.net.
This Sunday will be a very special interactive worship experience led by the artistry of Victor Minetola. The theme is Light. It all begins at 10:30 AM and will conclude with free lunch at noon.
Attention preschool parents. Please bring a picture of your child(ren) this Sunday the 17th. We will be making Christmas Presents for you. The picture needs to be approximately 2" in diameter. They will be going on paper. It does not matter if the picture is digital or regular camera style. If older children would like to do this, bring a picture of them as well.
Please pray for Bonnie Zahner and Sherrill Black's sister RoseMarie who lives in Oregon. She has a shadow on her chest x-ray. She has had three kinds of cancer before.
On CHRISTmas Eve, we will have a special joint worship gathering at University Reformed Church, 1001 East Huron Street in downtown Ann Arbor) at 10:30 AM. We will NOT have a gathering at the Frontline Living Room on Avis Drive on December 24. There is a church parking lot on Ann Street or free meter parking on Sundays.
On New Year's Eve, URC will join us at the Frontline Living Room for a joint worship gathering at 10:30 AM.
All financial gifts must be received or postmarked on or before December 31 to be credited for 2006.
Pray & Play has been cancelled until January 3.
This will likely be the last Frontline Focus of 2006. Have a wonderful CHRISTmas and a fantastic New Year (Go Blue!).
Blessings and peace,
Kirk
