This Week

The IMPACT Prayer Center continues every Tuesday from 6 AM until midnight at Summit Church on South Main at Ann Arbor-Saline Road. Join the 18-hour prayer meeting that features live music and people from various churches across our county.

Pray & Play is held on Wednesdays from 7-9 PM at the Frontline Living Room (Avis Drive). All are welcome.

We are partnering with URC to help the Ozone House with a fundraiser September 15-16 at the Ann Arbor Oktoberfest. Opportunities range from ticket booth, concession, set up and tear down, security. Shifts are from 4-8 PM or 8 PM-midnight on either night. Email Sonja Bair for details.

This Sunday evening is Kirk's ordination service at 6 PM. This is a special ceremony in which other pastors will officially ordain Kirk as a minister. We hope you can come!

Coming Soon

The October 1 AIDS Walk is quickly approaching. We are seeking to raise $1500 this year. This link can be sent to family and friends in requesting donations. You can set-up your own personal page, too. There are also volunteer opportunities to promote and serve at the AIDS Walk.

Our annual 24-hour fall retreat will be held at FaHoLo in Grass Lake October 6-7. Mark your calendars!

Kids Zone is looking for teens and adults to help with drama on Sunday evenings. We also need nursery help. Please contact Heather at heather@frontlinechurch.org or 734.717.8251 for details.

Volunteers are needed for Activity Zone for 20 minutes during worship. No planning is required, just a love for kids. We are also looking for additional nursery workers. You can serve once a month or every other month. For details, contact Heather at heather@frontlinechurch.org.

ISI provides local opportunities to fulfill Christ's command to "make disciples of all nations". International Students Inc. has a list of university foreign students requesting a Bible tutor, English tutor or a room to rent in a home. Foreign exchange students are still looking for homes for the 2006-07 school year.  Girls from Ecuador, Switzerland, Japan and China and boys from China, Mexico, Thailand and Finland would like to share their culture and learn about yours and your family.  All students come with their own spending money, have medical insurance and know English.  Host families' obligation is to provide a bed (students can share a room), three meals a day and a caring home.  Both the students and host families receive training and support.  Hosts can be varied - no children or children of any ages, single or married, empty nesters, etc.  For more information, contact Jennifer at senjenn@hotmail.com or 734-377-5867.

Journey Groups

The heart of Frontline is found in small groups that meet together for prayer, Bible exploration, ministry, and sheer fun! New people are always welcome.
